Shy Poppy
Today was taken up by the third visit to Solihull to take my mother to hospital for an eye operation. Fortunately this is day surgery, and the process is getting quiet slick.
Uneventful journeys to Solihull and back, apart from seeing a muntjac in the verge on the outskirts of Catherine de Barnes village. Unfortunately, I was more concern about it making a sudden move than trying to catch it on camera.
I was back in time for a late walk to Larkhill, were the recent construction work by Thames Water has now finished, and the poppies are growing in the re-established top soil.
