I Love Rust

Took a walk up Larkhill for the second day in a row; but this time with Child No. 2 (the key worker) who was recovering from one night shift and preparing for the next.

We both needed a good walk, so we went up to the old water tanker on Chain Hill.  I don't know the background to this.  It has sat there, rusting away, for at least 20 years.  Every now and then the graffiti gets cleaned off, but this only gives space for fresh stuff.

I really liked this 'I Love Rust' message.  It is on the back of the tank so it is not visible from the road.  I am really glad we made the effort.  The extra photo gives the scale (but includes some profanity).
