Tuesday: Whaler Bay

Final backblip (and extras) from our restorative long weekend.  We packed up our campsite this morning but luckily still had most of the day on the island.  

We walked through a fantastic fern density down to a wonderfully secluded beach where we sat for some time and enjoyed the view.  We then went to the other end of the island and explored Bellhouse Provincial Park.  

At 4pm, we pitched up at ‘Wild1’, a stationary food truck serving excellent Thai food - I had a magnificent pad thai while K. enjoyed a green curry.

And then the ferry back to Vancouver.  It’s been a great trip and a real reminder of how even a few days disconnecting can be really beneficial.
