Lemon Tree Very Pretty...

But I'm not sharing that song because I found this one which I've never heard before but is quite apt if you listen right through - quite catchy too! ;-)

I bought this little lemon tree - on a whim - a couple of months ago at Morrison's. Frank said it would likely not survive but I did the research and found out that they can tolerate low temperatures outside as long as it's not frost. They also like rainwater and citrus plant food.
As you can see it's doing really well! I love my little Lemon Tree!

Last night the electric went off at the boat because a transformer blew up on on the top of the hill. Luckily no one was involved as it stands alone but the fire brigade had to deal with it. We have enough leisure batteries so we still had power.

It was OK at the dentist. I have a really sensitive tooth which was x-rayed but no treatment required. There's a bit of infection so I was advised to use Sensodyne - which I already am - and Corsodyl antiseptic mouthwash for 2 weeks and see if it improves. I really like my dentist - he really takes the trouble to explain things.

We did Click and Collect at Morrison's then came back to the house. I went round the garden dead heading the roses, pansies and marigolds and Bella had a romp about with her best friend Baxter - who will be moving house soon! She's going to miss him :-/ though he will still be in Hellifield so not far.

Frank made a most delicious meal tonight from the BOSH vegan book. See extra for recipe. I would highly recommend it.

After a lovely day it is now raining again :-(

We'll probably stay a couple of nights here before going back to Fiddlesticks. The weather is not good tomorrow.

Most people were wearing masks today which is good. It's not only looking after yourself but also other people and slowing down or stopping the spread of Covid19.
The government have stopped broadcasting the numbers of infected people and deaths but They are still happening.
Boris has admitted the government made mistakes.

The message is still stay safe and be careful.
