Hide
And seek.
Mr A has noticed that the woodpecker has been visiting our feeders around the same time in the evening for the past few nights, so tonight we set up the camera and waited. Woodpeckers are generally quite shy and jittery, so previous attempts to capture a photo have failed, because as soon as we move, even in the slightest, he’s off like a shot! So our ‘hide’ was behind the curtains.
Of course, as soon as you prepare for something to happen, it never does, so other than a few blue & coal tits (if you zoom in you can see one on the camera screen) we got nothing worthy of the bird variety.
We did however witness a fantastic show of acrobatics from a couple of juvenile squirrels. They had a great time tumbling and jumping around! :-)
