The entry title refers to the first blip I uploaded and then replaced with this shot I took after dinner last night, and preferred. The original was a shot of the Jubilee Bridge near Appin that was built in 1889 and meant that the members of the Episocpal Holy cross church and the Free church on opposite sides of the Marach could easily attend their church of choice and not restricted by which side of the inlet they happened to live, or at least without a long walk. The bridge has been repaired several times and currently is in Avery good state with financial support from Sport Scotland.
The extra blip is of course castle Stalker taken from the shore alongside the bridge.
Our original plan for the day had been the pine marten walk near Creagan Loch however it was closed for a bridge repair across a fairly deep gorge, I know this because I ignored the no entry sighs, and turned back at the bridge.
After a delicious hf picnic lunch, which was just as it always used to be prev COVID including freddos we drove down the south side of Loch Leven to Kinlochleven and back up the north side, some spectacular views.
Stunning evening and tempted to join small visitor who was swimming in the Loch, resisted and took this photo instead.
