Spooky

Not raining this morning (but still grey and dull), so we had a slow start then headed down to town. My first walk through the streets since April really, and still felt spookily empty.... very aware of how the High Street would normally look like in August!
Had some coffee but then just window shopped a bit (considering getting some proper walking and wet weather gear) and looked around. Got bargain new cases from Laura Ashley closing down sale.  Catch up work call at lunchtime then it started to rain just before we were due to get lunch.
Went to Cafe Marlayne which I haven’t been to for quite a few years, but delicious lunch and we even had a glass of wine. Proper holidays!
Home (still pouring!) and S had a lie down whilst I did some sorting of things for P....trying to get some enhanced home help setup and a hearing centre appointment.
Another TV and cheese and biscuits supper...hoping the weather’s better for tomorrow
