What a day...

hot and sunny with cloudless blue skies. This is from the top of the hill, and walking up through the woods encountered the fawn in the extra, squirrels, so many Crossbills and Woodpeckers, all enjoying the summer.
Coming back along the track enjoyed a 'breakfast' of wild raspberries, profuse, juicy and all the way home!!
Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Tortoiseshell and Common Blue butterflies were in the meadow.
