A rose

Way too hot for the doggies this morning so just a quick turn around the block. Then off to do the grocery shopping, the  traffic was horrendous going into Scarborough, where are they all coming from ?

We mooched around most of the afternoon too hot to go into the garden, then out of nowhere the heavens opened and we had a downpour, when it passed I went out with camera and captured the rain drops on this beautiful rose.

Later we had a barbecue and sat out in the courtyard .

When it cooled a little we went for a walk, then disaster struck I tripped on the pavement and landed on the ground, very undignified. The first time I’ve had a skint knee in over sixty years.

Milking it now sitting with my feet up and eating ice cream.
