Smell that!

The Ling is at its best here at the moment and to walk through it, knee deep with the pollen blowing is magical! Spent hours doing just this. not another person in the world, well, in the area!
There are still Sand Martins, a pair of Oystercatchers and Lapwings and Goldfinches and Flycatchers by the ruined croft house.
Idyllic!
Had found the wonderful Small Scabious Mining Bee first thing in the morning too. That's its first appearance in my survey site. So , with the brilliant weather too, a wonderful day!
