Saturday: Botanical Beach

We headed down to Botanical Beach this morning for a walk.  No sooner had we got there when someone shouted ‘bear’.  And there it was, right on the beach, just ambling around.  It was remarkably unaffected by the people on the beach, preferring to focus on catching fish.  It was there the entire time we were, about half an hour.  None of my photos did it justice so you will have to take my word for it.

We also enjoyed a good long walk and a picnic lunch on Botanical Beach, one of our favourite places.  

We ate at Bridgemans, on the waterfront.  The views were just lovely and the food, which was pub-style, was also good.

And finally an evening on balcony enjoying the most amazing view of the stars and the Milky Way.
