Going Greek

Another hot day, but at 32 degrees it is one degree cooler than yesterday.  At 10:30pm last night it was still 27.5 degrees in the bedroom and that only dropped to 24.5 by 7am!

Today we did a dog walk at 9am and we did another at 6pm to take Merlin to the stream to cool off.  He enjoys lying right down in the water and drinking it whilst he cools his tummy and paws.  The excitement of the afternoon has been to book a short camping trip when I am off work in September.  It is just for a few nights and at the Sustainability Centre in the South Downs.  We have one of the two camping bays as it will be our first camping trip with Merlin so we thought it best to give ourselves plenty of space!

Hoping our day has gone well and that you have been able to keep cool if you wanted or needed to. We are going Greek for dinner this evening!
