Not quite Derelict Sunday
We woke too late for an early morning walk so had to be content with a late morning, early afternoon stroll along leafy lanes. Quite pleasant although rather hot by lunch time. Good job there was quite a breeze most of the time.
Not alot went on after lunch apart from making a tomato sauce from a couple of kilograms of tomatoes from the greenhouse. That will go in the freezer for the winter. Cooked dinner and then went to the allotment to try and mitigate the effects of drought and temperature on the beans, courgettes and leeks. Applied a liquid feed too. Too much more and there'll be a hosepipe ban and the crops will be withered to a frazzle in the furnace like heat.
We pass this old shack each time on this route and today it its moment in the sun, so to speak. Its seen better days and is still used now and again. Sometimes I think these buildings were actually erected like this. They never have been new. Thank you for hosting Marlieske.
