That's how many pounds it cost to build The Wallace Monument over on the Abbey Craig here. Seems extremely reasonable for such an iconic building, but even at that the builders went bust and the architects never got paid for their work.

Enjoyable and much needed Friday pints after work today, steak pie supper munched whilst sitting in the bus stop waiting for a ride home, then dozing off on the sofa after a nice chat with a slightly tipsy daughter. Good times.
