Big Sky Blue

Well, with the outside temperature of 13°C and wind gusting to 60 kms, we decided to try to have the Sunday service outside as we have been doing. Surprise, 75 people showed up.

Sitting in the wind was cold but they were hearty people. As I reminded them, in the years and generations to come, they would tell their children how they had to attend church during the pandemic, outside in the cold. :)

But during the service I went to the back and snapped this pic. The sky was big and blue, the grass well watered and green, and the people in between, happy to be together.

It’s mid August now and very soon it will start to cool off. We won’t be able to continue to meet outside much more. But for now, the people seem ready and willing to show up and worship.

Who really knows what the church will look like into the future. These are interesting times indeed.
