Gardyloo.....

A day revolving around sh..t. , literally !
Sent 2 off down the road to haul home the straw I baled on Saturday before the natives decide it’s fun to torch them.
I spent the morning spreading slurry on the grass field we baled last weekend .
Then when Gareth came back from the mart with my Landrover and trailer I spent the afternoon hauling out weaned calves from here and next door. Managed 9 loads by 5 pm, will hopefully get the last 4 loads tomorrow.
Littlemiss back home by tea time and spent the evening in the tractor with me spreading more slurry until I got fed up about 9 pm.
Spotted Ian and this spreader on the next door farm spreading sludge. It is treated to kill any harmful bugs but still smells like when I empty the septic tanks.
In the good old days it was carted out to the middle of the Forth and fed to the fishes, but that is not allowed now. I’m sure a chippy fish supper doesn’t taste the same these days !!
