Social Climbing...

... But not a friendly butterfly, an intrepid garden snail. 

I'm hoping that my PC problems are behind me (and it's good to be able to choose a thumbnail again, not that I have an image to take advantage of it today). 

Snails are a weird (and gloopy) lifeform aren't they? 
(In fairness though, hats off to all lifeforms that are able to self-fertilise. They are going to be around for longer than me). 

Himself has busied himself in the garden, and has created a miniature Giant's Causeway... (I don't think that was his exact intention). No basalt columns for us, but chunks of a tree that had to be taken down (sad, but the Council said so). It's made an unusual surround for a lilac tree, kindly donated by a lovely relative. No doubt it will show up here as an EB one day? (The image would look a bit boringly brown and green at present). 

I'm blipping earlier than my usual time.
This means, obviously, that a much more exciting image will land on my doorstep this afternoon. 
UFO? Golden eagle? Unicorn?

Who knows? :-)
