Skiddaw, different angle

Backblip 2 (yestarday's worth a look, I think)
Had to go into town for a couple of jobs for Mum so went out early while it was pleasantly cool. It mostly wasn't too busy but there wasn't much social distancing going on. It also seems a bit mad that people were queueing closely outside without masks and then putting masks on to go into almost empty shops with staff behind screens.
Walked back via the lake and passed someone we knew busking so stopped for a chat. Shortly after got this view which shows the beginning of the day's heat haze.
Managed 3 1/2 miles walking at mainly normal speed with the knee strapped up which was an improvement but still not right.
Lunch in teh garden and Indian takeaway for tea (they got my order wrong, which was a bit annoying though it was tasty). Once done it was back up to home, nice sunset shortly before we got into the cloud in about the same place as we left it yesterday. see extra
