Washing up

Woke up at Atlavik campsite on the lovely Lagerflot lake to really warm sunshine in the tent. Had a leisurely full breakfast, yes, bacon and eggs, and of course those daily chores like washing up! After packing up, we set off for the Eastern Fjords where the weather was supposed to be good too.
We drove over a crazy steep dirt track pass road to Raydarfjordor, making lots of stops, not another soul using that road. Drove out to Neskaupstadur, completely shocked to find a new long tunnel connecting the village. Last time 6 years ago there was a dirt road pass and small tunnel. It was pretty windy, we set the tent up then walked along he new avalanche defenses to the village.
We had fish and chips at the Bait Shack, then went swimming at the hot open air pool and hot pots.
