Out and about in rainy weather with some odd sunny spells . The photo shows rain over Pendle Hill heading our way with two reservoirs in the foreground on which small waves were rippling . We always enjoy our walks whatever the weather ! There are plenty of reservoirs to walk around but I can’t think of a single natural lake in the area.
We have spent most of the day on household tasks , we might make it into the garden before dark as there are some pressing jobs to be done.
We have had a worrying few days as my dad was rushed into hospital with a very high temp and breathing difficulties. He had to go alone due to C19 , in the past one of us has always been with him when he has to go for medical treatment. We weren’t sure how aware he would be and were concerned that he would be frightened . It’s been horrid thinking about him yet being helpless to give him support and comfort . The  good news is that he responded quickly to treatment  and is due out tomorrow. Various siblings have been in touch with the ward staff who were very helpful and made it possible for him to speak to my sister.
A family friend , who is a nurse at the hospital, has been able to pop in several times so that he has seen a familiar face . All seems much brighter and I may even get to see him later in the week .
A few of you had been wrapping him up in prayer , thank you - it makes all the difference .
