Today’s Blip was taken up on Darwen Moors where the heather is in full bloom and looking beautiful.
We haven’t been up this way since before lockdown , its a shortish walk , with enough uphill to get the heart going , a gushing stream that gallops it’s way through a narrow, steep sided valley , more of a deep gully and provides perfect little pools  for Bramble to swim in and dive for stones and then finally a small , out of the way, cafe which also hosts an interesting second hand book stall. 
It’s been a funny old day, with ups and downs, as some days are .
