Far from the madding clouds ...

Brambles are beginning to burgeon. A good crop in prospect. I was on the beach early. The dawn swimmers were already out in force. Later we were back on the beach which was busy, but bearable, at high tide when space is always at a premium. This view was taken from Joppa Quarry Park. This park was under threat when Portobello High School was looking for a new site. In current pandemic times this oasis is a real boon to us all.
