A Bute (iful) Day

What a difference a day makes in Scotland. After all yesterday’s rain, today was mostly sunshine and blue skies.
Climbed up to St Blane’s Chapel in the morning and then visited Scalpsie Bay.
We had lunch and a tour of the house and gardens at the magnificent Mount Stuart and then tea and cake overlooking the sea at the Ettrick Bay Tearoom. Pressies and cards to open when we got back home and my favourite treat a chippy tea. All in all a very memorable birthday.
