Roof garden bah none
Another iffy night.......lead to a lazy morning.
Grey skies and rain, on & off all day.
We drove into town, collected the Sunday papers and deposited ourselves in Costa, with our chosen brew, for a relaxing hour or so. I took my book, still not quite finished it :-/
Back home, sorted out the laundry Id left on...not a chance of drying it outside, so the tumble drier has been eating up the electricity all afternoon!
Made a cottage pie for dinner this evening, which I left in the oven, whilst we went out for a quick walk. I used the rest of the lean minced beef, that Id defrosted yesterday for a lasagna. We had it with carrots, brocoli and green beans. I really enjoyed it, unlike hub :-/
Todays blip is the sheep in the top field of the farm just facing our estate......I like the tree growing out of the barn roof ;-) That sky was looking rather ominous as we were heading home, but we made it!
We have just watched Countryfile, the weather forecast for the whole week is looking pretty awful :-(, now watching Great Canal Journeys with Pru & Tim.....really love these, reminds me of my Mum & Dad and our narrowboats :-)
A little better viewing tonight, thank goodness.
We have another apisode of the Bridge to catch up on too :-)
Wishing you all a good safe new week.
