Vintage tea

I dusted off my heels and went to TWO parties today! I haven't felt that popular in, well... I never have felt that popular! The first was a vintage tea party for Sarah's 30th birthday. It was beautiful and there were so many amazing cakes! The kids had a fun time playing with the old fashioned games and dancing to songs that were hits before their mother was born (though she was born a long long time ago). SDB was there, looking fabulous with her gorgeous two, Sarah was looking stunning in her retro spotty dress and it was a truly lovely afternoon!

In the evening we went to Claire's (another stunning birthday girl!) 40th party and we dressed up even more glamorously. There were tunes to dance to and the kiddos stayed up grooving way past their bedtimes with a lot of other wild and groovy children. It was perfect and the cake was delicious! There is a reoccurring theme here- dressing up and wonderful cake, which is what a party should be. Tomorrow is Cleo's and so it will truly be a weekend of cake!
