Fossils

A side activity of standing and watching the harvest is finding fossils in the chalky soil of Michael and Chris' fields... Years of cultivation have broken up these softish stones so although there are lots of bits lying around there are not many 'nice' ones.

The main photo looks like a number of bivalves squashed together, the extra (to my thinking) looks rather like a section of an ammonite.
