Egg shells...

.. This will be my final 'egg' blip (for now). I might well have over-egged things on the blip front. (Even the debris is pretty though isn't it?).

I sought help on the identification front from the Butterfly Conservation group Despite the fact they must be really busy, they most kindly (many thanks to Sarah) took the time to get back to me. They suggest that the eggs are those of the Garden Tiger moth, whose caterpillars are known affectionately as 'woolly bears'. Isn't that interesting? I shall be looking for the moths (but shall need to look up the 'when').

I'm off now (to a quiet room) for a Zoom meeting (shall I make an effort and slap on the first make up since lockdown? Or shall I cover the camera? I suspect the latter. Lockdown has somehow sapped all confidence).
