Grumpy Looking

Up and out to the butchers, bakers and fishmonger but not the candlestick maker. Like a lot of households the lockdown has caused ours to shift to a more ‘thoughtful’ way of shopping. More local produce from small local shops less processed food and a more varied diet.
I also shop on Fridays for our friends who remain socially isolated and dropping it round gives me the opportunity to have a coffee and a catch up.

Tonight’s meal was, if I say so myself, the best Friday night dinner yet. Followed a Waitrose recipe for cod with peppers it was really good.

The end of what has been a busy week.

Today’s photo shows Ami the former figurehead of the RMS Amazon which caught fire and sank of the Scilly Isles. She now sits on Upton Slip in Falmouth Where she scowls at all who approach.
