Not Enough Snow

This photo rather sums up today's weather for me: enough snow to be inconvenient, followed by enough rain to stop the snow from being fun to play in. That said, at least it wasn't icy, nor is the forecast for it to be icy tomorrow. Cycling on freshly-fallen snow is something that I find surprisingly easy. It's slow-going, certainly, and I need to respect the conditions undertyre, but it's much easier than trying to manage to stay upright on a sheet of black ice. Especially an ice sheet that's been recently disguised with an inviting layer of freshly fallen snow.
