'Paddle Steamer ROTHBURY'

....A morning walk today, and along came the old P.S. ROTHBURY - built in 1881. It was, and still is, the fastest paddle-steamer on the Murray River.

It travels on the river every day and we hear the paddle-steamers passing by, from our home and today, here it is approaching the Lock in this scene.

Very popular with Tourists, this one usually travels upstream, but today she did a trip downstream and back, and pictured here - she was on her return trip.

In the distance we can see part of Lock Island which, as well, is very popular with the Community and Tourists alike. It is just as green as you see here and the day is as sunny as you see here.
