Irises

Much going on over at the boat club. A work party. Which I missed of course, preferring to read papers on a Saturday morning. There’s been a real changing of the guard; the old guys largely haven’t put their boats in and haven’t been seen since lockdown. There are so many new members who actually want to sail and have none of the old baggage about the club, and the other club. There’s a buzz about the place.
I tell you what buzzed me though - bliddy tiny thin wires for the wind instrument. I spent about two hours stripping and connecting them. 
Later, King of the Cruise on Curzon: "a portrait of rich and flamboyant Scottish baron Ronald Busch Reisinger of Inneryne." Some nice surreal stuff in there, though it may be that the baron was set up a bit. More fool him then. Though looking around the cruise ship it seems there are no shortage of subjects for an enquiring camera.
