To Bean or not to Bean

That is the question.

I have spent most of the day online, listening to presentations from those shortlisted for various awards (I am one of the judges). More of the same tomorrow. This year, as with so much else, the awards ceremony is going virtual. Results embargoed until the event on YouTube in November.

Today’s discussion was on “Go to Google”. That and other video conferencing platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp video and BlueJeans were unknown to me at the start of the year, I’ve used them all.

Our bean is still growing. Planted very late (July) this is one of two that has germinated. All the others are in one big sulk and showing no sign of appearing. With our soggy summer, who can blame them.

We have two bean flowers. Will we have a bean ?
