Café au lait

Today's the day …………………….. to win an award

It wasn't a day for taking pictures today, there being not a lot of light anywhere to brighten things up.

But this dahlia Café au lait  seems to be lit from within, whatever the weather.  And although you can't really tell from this shot, it's enormously big.  It must be 10ins across and the size of a small dinner plate.
