Let them eat cake.......

My lovely friend, the other Marjorie, came to visit today with good cheer and cake to lift the spirits of the patient. She succeeded.

We chatted about all sorts. M played the piano while I did a bit of urgent Festival business on the computer, and we ate some of her excellent cake. Anyone who fancies visiting in the next 24 hours will be able to share in the mouth watering confection, but I suspect there will be none left after that.

Arth is doing OK, moving better this morning and objecting to activity by swelling this afternoon. What can you expect of a knee??
