Adonis Blue

Although looking a little tatty at this stage of the season, these are always beautiful butterflies and certainly one of my favourties, as well as probably the commonest we have in the garden here.
The start of a saga today. With DS#1 here and the associated muscles, yesterday I ordered a wood burning sotve weighing in at 140kg for pick up from Aubenas - an hour's drive away - this afternoon.
On arrival one look at the car from monsieur and a look at the box saying this way up and we not going to get it in the car.
However they loan out vans and one is now ordered for tomorrow. Hurrah a day driving up and down mountain roads.
An epic dinner that has been in preparation for a couple of a days. Pulled chicken and pork ribs were just the best one could taste.....
