Ready to go

This one has had a good day - they both have.... 

We've been up to friends who have a farm and the boys had a ride in two tractors, walked dogs, picked plums, ridden toy tractors and had a picnic by a beautiful private lake.  Not bad really.  We came back to the reality of home (and I had a little afternoon sleep as I was shattered!) 

The youngest played outside all afternoon, the husband mowed the grass whilst the youngest pretended to mow a field and make bales.  He conveniently staked all the required equipment on the mower ready for the next field (front garden).  

Today I'm grateful for: 
An afternoon sleep - and the husband starting dinner for me because of it
Managing to get some new word practise in with the eldest
The eldest finding a fantastic programme about an elephant hospital and watching it with utter delight (it's really interesting!)
