Solace Day 6 At The Station

We are coming back down the Froghall Branch of the Caldon canal. Alongside the canal runs the Churnet Valley Railway line where steam trains run regular trips. This blip shows the Consall Forge station. Part of the platform has had to be built juutting over the canal.

We had hot sunshine when we moored for the evening and sat on the foredeck with our drinks feeding the fish of bread crusts. Fun to watch them .

I tried a new menu today. See Extra. Very yummy: bacon, onions, potato mashed with cream, all topped with a couple of halved camembert rounds.
