Hohner G3T

This is the fretboard of my first guitar, which I bought in the nineties, when my twentieth century babies were still small. It saw some active service at rehearsals for the nameless band that I had with a couple called Jeff and Theresa. (Literally no one liked our music apart from us. But that was OK; we liked it a lot.)

Mostly, though, it was used while I was supervising bath time, when I would usually play the girls my rendition of Talking Heads' 'Heaven', with the lyrics humorously modified to replace 'bar' with 'bath'. 

If you look closely, you'll see this guitar is headless and it was much reviled by guitarists of my acquaintance although I'd like to point out that David Bowie himself played a Steinberger, which is the model that my Hohner was based on. 

Anyway, you'll be pleased to hear that since my post on August 25th, I have mastered 'The Star Spangled Banner'. (Well, maybe not mastered exactly.)
