Himatangi...

…………………………Beach



During our visit we have seen many moods and weather conditions of this often wild west coast beach of the North Island of NZ. 

Today it was bathing us with hot sunshine in calm windless conditions - it felt as though summer had arrived! 

Fishermen were scattered along the beach and as you can see in the extra photo this was one of the fish caught - and released.

As we climbed the track through the sand dunes to the car I turned and this was my last view of the beach - sadly, today was our last day here, although it is lovely being back in Wellington with our family again.
