Grasmere

After half an hour on the hydrotherapy pool, we checked out of The Daffodil Hotel and went for a walk around Grasmere Lake. You can see the hotel in the background.

I was hoping to do a nice 6 mile trek that I had plotted but Mr W wasn't feeling up to it. 3 nights of sleeping in the bath has caught up with him!!! (I snore!)

We are now on our way home after a scenic route through the Yorkshire Dale's. Oh my..... it was BEAUTIFUL.

So that's it for another year. Its been so nice to spend some quality time together, not worry about the dog or the cost of the cocktails because after all.... we should have been in St Lucia right now. 4 days in a Spa hotel was a tad cheaper!!
