Udder

Our first calf of the spring was born last night. He's the son of Victor, the Simmental bull that I blipped on 5th January and a pedigree Simmental cow called Nicola. We expect 70 calves over the next 6 to 8 weeks. Half of them will be Victor's, the rest will be out of one of our Charolais bulls. This calf may only have been born during the night, but he worked out where his mother's udder is!
