New growth

Earlier in the year I radically pruned the camellias at the front of the door.

My blip of 10 July showed that there was some life still.

Today’s blip shows that new leaves have formed and, as in the extra, are very shiny. No sign of flower buds for next year though. That’s to be expected.

I enjoyed the sunshine for a while then started preparing an area in the back garden for raised beds. It is going to take some time! As a break, I cut the hedge just in time before the rain.
