The dreaded COAT makes its first appearance
A wet day, with a few dry spells, one of which enabled me to nip to the shop and get some chocolate supplies.
But it did not put off our prize dog walker, Robert, even though I instructed him to stay in bed. But he’s got all the wet weather gear, so no problem.
I put Archie’s coat on. Wrong move. He stood and had a massive SULK for ages - hence Robert’s amusement. But really, I bet he was glad of it, because he’s had quite a short haircut on his tubby body. Anyway, once he summoned up the courage to move, he skipped off and forgot about it.
We had a day indoors. A delivery came of a small circular side table, the last of the new lounge furniture... it wasn’t due till next week, so that was a cause for great excitement.
A warm bath for Archie when he came home, and no coffee for Robert. I did offer, but he didn’t fancy sitting outside in the drizzle.
Searched all through Netflix for something half decent to watch. Happened upon one about an infectious disease. It was Russian (dubbed in English) but we switched it off quickly when the pregnant woman was about to be murdered by men dressed in black who stole their big TV.
We have watched the David Attenborough Netflix documentary, which was splendid. All world leaders should be made to watch it. And I’m looking forward to the next series of The Crown. Pity it’s the last, as there’s SUCH a lot of goings-on with the Royals lately...
