Bird In The Bush

Yesterday a wild bird chick had fallen out of the nest in the bushes next to the horse trailer and Eddie the cat had already got it in his mouth before Angie was able to rescue it.

Overnight we kept it inside & fed it worms. Today tried finding a cat safe place to put it in the hope Mum could sort the matter out. Angie tried all sorts of things including trying to put it on the roof but all doomed to failure.

Another night indoors and seemed well the next morning but within an hour of a hearty breakfast of worms, it died!
