Bennachie

I’d a lovely walk on Bennachie near Inverurie this morning with a pal and the dogs. 
We started in mist and did not meat a soul for the first couple of hours as we scrambled up the Mither Tap and Oxen Crag. It’s an interesting area with a Pictish hill fort on the top of the Mither Tap and old mine workings on other parts of the hill. 
It was a lot busier on the way down with a lot of families taking advantage of the improving weather and school holidays for a good walk.
