Dinner with Diane

This afternoon we walked over the fields to have dinner with Diane. Dinner was very scrummy. I know because I got a whole carrot all to myself and I also got a little bit of steak. Yum, yum.

And then Diane’s daughter, Mel, very kindly drove us home so we didn’t have to wander through the fields in the dark.

This morning our friend Heather popped in for coffee and a bacon sandwich.

It’s so lovely to be able to meet friends. Next weekend when we’re back in Scotland it will be like being back in full lock down again and we will be back to being Billy no mates?!

......And that’s why we’re trying to see as many people as possible now. Social distancing of course?!!
