Room with a breeze

We organised a meeting today to work on team budgets, but the rule is that windows have to be kept open for air to circulate. So as well as this stunning car park view, it was cold and we were wrapped up.

We had useful chats about resourcing and I’m feeling positive that next year we will fund some additional roles in Mozambique that will help deliver the work. We have to write business cases for new roles to justify the spend and to ensure we’re not being wasteful with charitable funding. Regarding some roles on a project that will end soon and there is the valid question of whether funds should still be spent on their positions, someone used the phrase ‘well, we’re not a charity.’ Oh how we laughed.
