Tequila For Sale

This window of tequila at one of our local liquor stores caught my eye as we returned to our car after eating dinner this evening. This store sells all kinds of liquor, but of course, this being Mexico, tequila is the most prominent. I always thought there were three kinds of tequilas, but as I looked this up while writing this I find there are five: blanco (white), joven (gold), reposado (aged, rested), anejo (extra aged, vintage) and extra anejo (ultra-aged). Now I have a couple more types to try, though I am not certain I can afford the extra anejo. Maybe when our tequila drinking friends from Seattle return we can taste all five styles.
