After school snack

We went up into the woods after school for hot chocolate and a snack - nicer than coming straight home which can get a little monotonous. 

I went out for a run straight after dropping the boys this morning, which worked really well. Home to do almost an hour's work for the job I left last week (I'm still doing half a day a week), then I spent another hour sorting out my computer and getting it logged into the right  cloud based storage which was immensely frustrating.  I did finally get some work done and in fact I got done almost all that I wanted to do today.  

Tired boys, I think they desperately need half term.  They are holding things together brilliantly well, but anything that tips the balance generally results in tears (or being a little too physical against each other). It would help if the youngest went to sleep a little more easily... 

Today I'm grateful for:  
Bumping into an old friend when dropping the boys of, we went to school together and it was lovely to see him
The first of the dog related things arriving! I had to order the boys not to open the parcels and said they were special parcels for Daddy (one day they will see through my lies...) 
Managing to get the computer up and running, despite the frustrations (and not getting quite as frustated as I might have done!)
