Troubled Times

Apologies for my lack of blips this week.  Its been a challenging time as Merlin has been very unwell and is in specialist veterinary centre near to Winchester receiving critical care.  We think he ate a poisoned dead rat he found over in the field on Saturday morning.  To cut a long story short, he is now showing some signs of improvement but his liver function is still very high and needs to come down.  The wonderful staff are working hard and doing all can to help his body breakdown and remove the toxins.  To try to avoid this happening to any other living beings, we are pursuing the issue of how a rat containing highly toxic poison came to be lying dead in a heavily used recreational area.
